Boy George On Trash Duty

The song “Do you really want to hurt me” popped in my head while I was reading this one.

Boy George, the former front *ahem* man for the band Culture Club was sentenced to pick up trash for 5 days in New York as his sentence for making a false burglary report to the NYPD.

He has been relunctant to be a trashman and has been given a stern warning by the ruling judge. If he doesn’t do his community work, he’ll go to jail..

But wait. Wouldn’t a guy like Boy George like going to prison?

Anyway.. if you’re in New York Mr. George is scheduled to pick up trash in a starting August 14. Be sure to look for him..
