Jessica Simpson to Host the Teen Choice Awards

Jessica Simpson has been selected to co-host the Teen Choice Awards, to air on August 20, 2006.

This should be an interesting event for the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star that’s also a contender in the ‘Choice Movie Breakout Performance.’ category. Her ex-husband Nick Lachey and his new girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo both have nominations of their own.

I can’t imagine jessica being too happy about handing over an award to her ex, or to the woman that is now filling her place on Nick’s arm.

But then again, Jessica asked for the divorce and got exactly what she wanted..

I wonder if we can expect to see a catfight at this award show?
