Petting zoos, sleep chambers, and plastic surgery can add up and it looks like Michael Jackson is hurting for cash. His people are looking into making a deal to avoid bankruptcy.

This could be one of the most unsurprising celeb stories of the year. Let’s be realistic about just how long ago Michael Jackson was a superstar. ET was doing big business and “Come on Eileen” was a radio hit. The sheer number of child molestation trials alone had to add up to millions in legal bills. Add to that his alleged insatiable hunger for luxury brands, and you begin to see how this was probably unavoidable.

He isn’t completely out of options yet either. Talks will continue in this situation in the coming months.
